F.A.Q.

What if I have my own account number,  can I use it?

Yes you can; whether it's yours, theirs, or a third party...plus we have free supplies provided by the carriers and there are no drop-off fees, ever.

If my item(s) can't fit into or be adequately protected in the free supplies, can I have you professionally pack them?

Yes you can, from a simple pack to custom packaging. However, we are unable to bill anything but the shipping and insurance to an account number. The shipper would be responsible for the packaging charges.

Can I pack my own item(s)?

Yes you can. We sell everything that we use ourselves. However, in most cases, the cost of supplies is equal or slightly less than having us professionally pack it. With 10+ years of experience, you can be confident that your items will be packed in accordance with the shippers guidelines. Our goal is that your items arrive in the same condition that you sent them.

I sell items on eBay, how do I figure the shipping cost so I can charge accordingly?

Measure and weigh the item(s), determine if they are fragile or non-fragile, and call us or stop by for a free estimate. We'll give you all your options and prices.

Shipping Tips

  • Use corrugated boxes that are in good condition: no holes or missing flaps.

  • Place items in the center of the box with room for cushioning all around.

  • Fragile items should have at least 2"-4" of padding; bubble wrap and foam peanuts preferably.

  • Extremely fragile items should be double boxed with 3"-6" of padding between the inner and outer box.

  • Cross out or remove any old shipping labels.

  • Items that could be affected by either wet conditions or dirt should be put inside plastic bags.

  • Sharp edges should be padded to prevent puncturing thru the box.

  • Never send a package that isn't completely full; either cut the box down or fill with foam peanuts. Paper can also be used to fill in void spaces for non-fragile items, but it weighs more than foam.

  • When shipping mechanical equipment, like engine parts, make sure that all of the fluids are completely drained and plug any openings to prevent leakage.

  • Don't wrap boxes in paper or use any tape besides pressure sensitive plastic tape or reinforced paper tape.

  • The private carriers charge an additional handling fee for any items not in a corrugated shipping container.
